Initiate a live stream

Who is this for?

✓ Plan: SENSORA™ platform for enterprise institutions

✓ Role: Clinician, Site

If you’re at the originating site with a patient and an Eko device, you can start a live stream so that a distant site provider can listen remotely. This is typically used where there is a cart or Eko endpoint that multiple people use at the originating site where the patient, and Eko device, is located.

Here’s the general process:

  1. Sign into the Eko App or Eko Dashboard.

  2. Pair the Eko device with either the Eko App or the Eko Dashboard.

  3. Start the live stream from either the Eko App or Eko Dashboard.

  4. Share the live stream link (if required).

  5. Distant provider listens to the live stream either with the link or with the Eko Dashboard.

About live stream links

A live stream link for a site or clinician is always the same URL. It can be shared with many different people, who can save the link and navigate to it anytime they want to listen to the live stream. It can also be reset when needed by your Institution Admin or Program Admin.

Sign into the Eko Dashboard with the credentials your institution provided for your site. The cart or endpoint you’re using may already be signed in.

2. Connect the Eko device

  1. Click the green action (+) button near the top right of the page.
